Donations, Volunteer work, and the Gold Country Dog Park Association

The dog park could not have been built without a generous contribution from the Saltar Fund for the Benefit of Animals and the hard work of the Gold Country Dog Park Association. The association works with the park to maintain and improve the dog park. Much of the maintenance and cleanup work is done by volunteers.

We thank the many people have given their time, energy, and money to help the dogs and their people. The dog park is always in need of more chairs, and when the water arrives we are looking for donations of trees and shrubs. Any landscape artist or gardeners out there? We also need help in getting the word out about the dog park. Many new resident dogs do not know we are here.

You can donate to the dog park by sending donations directly to the dog park association, or by donating to the park and request use at the dog park.
